Today’s FlyCoupon will have you on pins and needles… literally! We’re offering you a uniquely holistic way to treat a wide variety of ailments. Acupuncture works directly with the body’s energy to balance it - allowing you to feel relief from many disorders and conditions. Things that you would never imagine could be helped by sticking needles into you can in fact be eased with this ancient Oriental practice. Seriously - sinusitis, asthma, tennis elbow or even a toothache can be treated with acupuncture! Who knew?
Don’t be scared. This technique has been around for thousands of years and the pros at A Sarang Acupuncture know exactly what they’re doing. Depending on what ails you, you’ll lie down on your front or back and very thin needles are inserted into specific accupoints related to your ailment. There are 350 of these points which allow access to meridians in your body. Qi, or the life force within you, flows through these meridians and clearing blockages can bring your energy back into balance. Cool, huh!
General and chronic pain, migraines, indigestion, arthritis and even anxiety and depression can be treated with acupuncture. It also helps improve circulation, reduce blood pressure and boost the immune system. Clearly there are many benefits and beyond that – didn’t you just always want to try it anyway? Well, here’s your chance!
Here’s a little something on acupuncture.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has recommended the technique for treatment of various health problems. Even the British Medical Association has acknowledged the scientific benefits of acupuncture. WHO has classified major health problems in to various categories and acupuncture is found to be effective in the treatment of most ailments that fall in each category
In 1997, the United States National Institutes of Health (NIH) issued a consensus statement on acupuncture that concluded that despite research on acupuncture being difficult to conduct, there is sufficient evidence to expand its use and encourage further studies of the phenomenon. The statement was not a policy statement of the NIH but is the considered assessment of a panel convened by the NIH. The consensus group also noted the relative safety of acupuncture compared to certain other medical interventions.
